MISSION TRIPS

Every year Africa New Life Ministries hosts groups from different parts of the world who come on short term missions. Recently teams have come from Portland, Oregon, Boise, Idaho, San Antonio, Texas and Europe.

Mission trips cost between $3,600-$4,800 per person and usually last between 2-3 weeks. Many people raise support for the trip cost by sending support letters to friends, family and co-workers. All donations to ANLM for mission trips are tax deductible.

We begin conducting team preparation meetings about six months in advance of each trip, so it is important to commit early to reserve a place on a team. Mission activities include hosting camps for the sponsored kids, visiting orphanages and poor homes in the village, and education clinics for the adults in a wide range of subjects ranging from Bible to life skills.

"I went to Rwanda expecting to help and give to a broken country and ended up receiving an amazing friendship. I was able to spend five days at the Grace Home in Kayonza, singing and playing with the 15 orphans who live there. I watched the house mother, Mutamba Juliet, pour out love on the kids that live in that home. My friendship with Juliet has called out the greatness in me.
