Women and Family Center

This unique outreach is the dream of Florence Burgeya the wife of Charles, founder and President of ANLM. The Women and Family Center is located in Kigali and its special mission is to train women for a vocation that will help them support their families. Many of the women are single who lost their husbands in the genocide or to AIDS and have trouble supporting their children. Through the Family Center these women learn a trade such as hair styling and sewing, as well as learn Biblical principles about raising their families. Additionally the women are counseled to heal the wounds of their past.
